MLP RPG:Fighting the Unknown Update + Exclusive Gift Code

Fighting the Unknown

It's been over a month since we last posted about Fighting the Unknown, and apparently a lot has been added since then. According to the developer there are 50 new skills with animations, along with 60 new passive skills and whatnot. It looks pretty impressive to me, but since it's such a massive download I'm probably going to have to wait 5 hours before I actually get to play it.

Also, apparently you can use the code EQGWOOT1 to earn a unique item ingame. It only works for the first twenty people to redeem it, so if I were you I would try and grab it immediately. Thanks to my slow rural ISP I probably won't even get to use this unique item myself, but I hope you all enjoy whatever it is that you unlock. Hopefully the game plays nice with Wine...

PurpleTinker's Quack Quest

Play it exclusively on the Equestria Gaming Arcade

Usually over at Equestria Gaming we post fangames, not make them. However Xtux was rather bored a couple nights back so he created a cheap fangame starring PurpleTinker, founder of BroNYCon, as she goes around chasing ducks. Why does the woman like ducks so much? Apparently some stupid people over at Memegenerator tried making a forced Purple Tinker meme but it was hijacked by somepony who turned the PT-hating into jokes about ducks. So there's a lesson for future generations: never make a forced meme unless you want it hijacked by trolls.

Anyway, the game can be played exclusively over at our Arcade. Hope you find it at least somewhat amusing. Night!

MLP:Online Prepares for Pon-E3

MLP: Online

MLP:Online's Announcement

With Pon-E3 coming up within a few short days our friends have been making preparations for their part in the event. However according to this thread it caught the MLP:Online team somewhat off-guard, as they just released the beta version of Episode 1 and didn't have too much for new content to show. In their desperate scramble to find something to do somepony suggested that they have a Q&Neigh session, as well as a discussion about interesting topics somewhat related to the game. This might sound kind of boring, but the thing is that all questions will be from the community and you can submit one yourself! Just go onto Twitter, ask @MLPOnline something and your question could be answered on their Livestream (I dunno where that is yet, they still have yet to announce that bit).

For some copypasta from their original announcement with more detailed information, continue on after the break!

More Details on Mane 6's Pon-E3 Stream

Fighting is Magic

Earlier today Mane 6 gave out some more info on their role in Pon-E3. We already knew what they were doing (hosting a stream of the EVO build at on the 14th at 3:00pm PST), but this time they've stated that to ensure everypony gets the best experience possible the team has switched their channel from being on Livestream to Twitch.tv and can be found at http://www.twitch.tv/manesix#. Be sure to bookmark it, folks!

After a break we have a copypasta mini-FAQ from their announcement.

Pon-E3 Promo Video!

Yes folks, we just went though the trouble of putting together another of those trailers just to reveal who is attending Pon-E3. Why didn't we just put it in text like the other announcements? Because videos have been scientifically proven by totally reliable sources to be 20% cooler then plain text when used for announcements, that's why! And if you disagree with us, you can take it up with my cat (he's quite smart you know).

Anyhow, the event will start at 6:00am, PST on July 13, and end at 6:00pm, PST on the 14th. The entire thing will take place online and it won't cost you a cent to drop in. And in case you want a detailed schedule of the event you can find it at https://docs.google.com/document/d/1TlIHQqEOlpF_y5LGVekI8LizpRcU5Gq3NMgwnV8WcAE/edit?pli=1.

See you there!

Presenting Equestria Gaming's Online Arcade!

At Equestria Gaming we pride ourselves on being the #1 source for My Little Pony fangames (at least, we hope so!). But as you might have noticed, lately we've slowed down somewhat (not in speed, we're highly optimized when it comes to speed and SEO). Was the current generation of authors going the way of Strawberry Spice? Nope! We've just been preparing something really awesome that we hope you all enjoy.

Introducting the Equestria Gaming Arcade, a place where you can access all of your favourite online MLP fangames in one easy website, with even more on the way! We have classics such as Story of the Blanks, Super Filly Adventure, along with enjoyable minigames like Catch the Scootaloos, Derpy Hooves sweet dreams, and the ultimate cure for boredom, Waiting is Magic! Pretty much any browser-based game is supported, so if you have any Adobe Flash, HTML5, Javascript or Unity3D games then feel free to submit them to us.

Anyhow, the arcade is located at http://arcade.equestriagaming.net/, and currently features 8 games (more are in the pipeline!). The features are not completely final yet either, we plan on adding a ratings system in the near future and maybe some extra eyecandy for those with modren browsers. Enjoy!

April Fools: What Could Have Been

A fake screenshot of a non-existent MMORPG

Some of you may have been wondering exactly what I was doing on April Fools and why I was not participating in the festivities. Thankfully Enigma saved the day with "Click the Twilight Sparkle", a stroke of sheer genius. Well, the truth is that I was at church and was not available on that day, but I was still working on something, something that nearly got finished but ended up taking too long to get finished in time. So what was it I was working on? A fake review, similar to Enigma's, but with fake screenshots and without an actual game to go along with it. I planned on reviewing an epic MMORPG titled "Of Ponies and Dragons: Rise of the Equestrian Empire", and give it a 2/10 for trivial and pointless reasons.

If you want to see more fake screenshots of the game, you can find them after the break. And please, click to enlarge and view them in their full glory (you can also do that with the one above).

EXCLUSIVE:Information about MLP:RiM Season Two Edition!

Remember that MLP pen & paper RPG we posted earlier? I recently got an email from the developers, and they gave me some exclusive information on the state of the Season Two rulebook, as well as some new features that should please the roleplaying crowd out there.

More about the Season Two rulebook after the break!
