Pony Rush

For those who need a little bit of pony on the go, Pony Rush is a simple cloud-doger game for Android smartphones. (And as clever people could figure out from the title, you play as a pony. I don't know her name.) There are two modes; an endurance mode where you fly until hitting a cloud, and a time attack mode where the goal is to reach the end as quickly as possible. There isn't a lot of depth (nor sound; put on your music library while you play, I guess), but the best scores for each mode are stored, so pursuing a new best might be a good way to kill a few idle minutes. The game ran fine on my underclocked Galaxy SII, and no special permissions are required, so it shouldn't be difficult to run the game on any decent phone.

Flash: Pony Creator v3 / Square Ponies / Taking Wing

If you're like me and school has just kicked into gear again, you might not have time for games which require a serious time investment. But there's always time for flash games.

Updates to generalzoi's (in)famous pony creator, pixelated madness, and more after the break!

Review: Rainbow Dash's Cloud Dodging Fun

Play it Here!
PentaStudios (the guys behind hits such as Waiting is Magic) have done it yet again, releasing Rainbow Dash's Cloud Dodging Fun, a rather extreme version of the standard cloud-dodger format. It's all around a great game - very polished, and surprisingly fun and intense for such a simple format. You can find the full review after the page break...

Screenshot of an Official MLP Flash Game

Apparently this is a screenshot of an official My Little Pony flash game from their Facebook page. A year ago I would have been squeeing over this like my sisters over an autograph One Direction, but to be honest I must say that it looks kind of...dull. Sure it's always nice to have official games, but we already have an overload of cloud dodgers and the lack of a unified art style disturbs me. Of course I'll save most of my criticism and praise (hopefully) for the final product, but I do hope that this will be as good as Adventure Ponies, don't you? Speaking of which it would be interesting if we were able to put Adventure Ponies on the Arcade, although I kind of doubt that Hasbro would approve...

Super Derpy: Muffin Attack Preview

A cloud dodger... with flash animation? And it just updated? I love you guys sometimes. Somepony's caused chaos near Discord's statue, giving him just enough power to turn muffins into muffin-zombies. He's trapped the Elements of Harmony in their homes, planning to bide his time until chaos reigns and he can rule Equestria  once more. Fortunately, he hasn't accounted for Ponyville's resident muffin expert! More after the break.

Review:Dash

As most of you probably know I have great disdain for the cloud-dodger genre. In general you play as Rainbow Dash and dodge clouds for eternity, or at least until you hit one. Sounds boring, eh? In most cases you'd be correct, but a game by the creator of Canterlot Defender has been uncovered, and despite it's rather overused genre it seemed rather promising.

Does Dash manage to transcend its comrades and become a great sidescroller, or is it just as mediocre as the others? Find out in our review after the break!
