Arcade Spotlight: Spike Toss by futzi01
Looks like we've got another futzi01 game for this week's spotlight! Spike Toss is a simple little physics game in the Angry Birds/Crush the Castle mold, though it's more about gem collection than destroying things. It's fun to see just how many gems you can get in one toss! I haven't managed to fully clear a single level yet, so if any of you out there manage to 100% all of them, enjoy being the Official Equestria Gaming Spike Toss Gamer God.
Y'know, a long, long time ago, some arcade games had little author comments or summaries to go with them. Spike Toss was given the description "Be Rarity for a day and treat Spike like dirt," and in all honesty I think about that every single time I see this game and it never fails to get a chuckle out of me.

Twilight Sparkle vs Trixie
Twilight Sparkle vs Trixie
As most people probably figured out by reading the game's title, Twilight Sparkle vs Trixie is about Twilight and her would-be arch-nemesis casting spells at each other. For some stupid reason they decided to position themselves on opposite sides of a hill, which means that they'll be blindly tossing spikeballs and whatnot over it in an attempt to damage their foe. Thing is, the multiplayer feature doesn't appear to be working at the moment and the singleplayer AI has incredibly bad aiming skills. In the course of a long match against it I was never hit once, unless you count the time I had a shield equipped. I can understand wanting to make a game that's easy to get into, sure, but there isn't much of a point in coming back if there's no real challenge.

Gravity Pony
Happy U.S. Thanksgiving, everypony! Regardless of where you live, November's as good a time as any to eat good food and play pony video games. Because that's what this holiday is for... right?
Anyhow, Zilven Sparkle's whipped up a gravity-based pony minigame to keep you occupied. Help Twilight master gravity spells, and try to avoid falling to your doom for as long as possible. The game appears to use the same animation as the upcoming Super Smash Ponies, and looks great in practice. If you've got .exe download problems, the HTML5 version can be found here, although lag and graphical issues are to be expected.

Review: Twilight vs Walking
Few online games have reached the same level of legendary infamy as the infuriating QWOP. It's frustrating. It's bewildering. And, unfortunately, it's addicting. Meanwhile, the Equestria Gaming R&D department developed the Pony Proliferation Postulate: one minus the reciprocal of the Faust Constant to the power of internet notoriety times time since the premier of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is equal to the probability of content ponification, or P(p) = 1 - (1/F)tN. The brilliant Donitz applied one to the other and discovered it was high time we controlled a jelly-legged Twilight Sparkle attempting to cross her own floor.
C'mon, guys, QWOP with ponies. Read on after the break! [WARNING: SOME SPOILERS]

Angry Ponies
Angry Ponies
Now we don't normally give mods a separate post here on Equestria Gaming, but this is somewhat of an exception. After all, who doesn't want to fling chubby little ponies at equally chubby changeling queens in their wee fortresses? This mod lets you do just that, and only a simple Google Chrome/Firefox plugin is needed to play (sorry users of other browsers!). It is still a work in progress, but I'm sure that you'll enjoy it anyways. So hit up the link above and take a look at the mod, then perhaps give it a try, ok?
Also, this isn't the first fandom that has made an Angry Birds-type game. The Portal fandom also did it with Aperture Birds, which you can find at http://www.moddb.com/games/aperture-birds and is far better in my personal opinion.
