Oops - EQG Game Catchup Post

Hello again, folks! So, in typical Equestria Gaming fashion, we took a short break on news, thinking there wouldn't be much to report on in that time. Sorry about that, feel free to direct all hate emails over to me. Today we've got a whopping fifteen game releases and/or updates,  so please make yourselves comfortable while we go over the lengthy list after the break!

Luna Game 3D

Luna Game 3D Title Screen
Following with our usual tradition, we're quite late in posting this, but boy is this a nostalgia bomb! For those unaware the Luna Game series were seemingly simple platformers at the start, but eventually would lock up, playing creepy music and displaying disturbing imagery. This game concept was then expanded upon in RPG Maker by Hedgehogself and the story was further developed as well.

Luna game 3D is a re-imagining of the series created in the GZDoom engine. In this game you'll meet various character and shall need to traverse through hostile environments where one wrong move could lead to your death.

"Are you skilled enough to survive in this hellish world? That's for you to find out."

Fall of Anterfold - Version 3.5 Released

In the first of today's "why did so many things happen in the five minutes we were all collectively busy" news dump, we're kicking things off with the announcement that the developers of the co-op survival horror game Fall of Anterfold have recently released version 3.5 of the game, with things like an updated launcher, a new story chapter and some general gameplay fixes and tweaks taking center stage among others with this iteration.
As with last time, check out the developer's website linked above for the expanded changelog and some general information on the game if you're unfamiliar, or you couldjump straight into downloading the latest version of the game and experience it all for yourself!

Fall of Anterfold - Third Beta Released

Man, these folks certainly work fairly quickly, don't they? Fall of Anterfold, in case you missed the last update post, is a very recent colorful horse co-op survival horror game which has just released its third beta hot off the heels of the previous one. Accordingly, it appears there's quite a few changes in place, with a little of everything from item textures to game mechanics and balance being tweaked this go-around.
Check out the developer's website linked above for the changelog and general information on the game, or maybe even give it a go for yourself!

Fall of AnterFOLD - Second Beta Released

Again we're a little behind (a little less this time, though!) on getting this one out, but hey, better late than never I suppose!

Fall of Anterfold (or AnterFOLD, it's used interchangeably), a colorful-equine-flavored co-op survival horror game, has recently released its second beta. According to their website, there seems to be quite a few interesting rules in place, such as a shared life between two players; if you or your partner die, that's an automatic game over. They also tout the general ruleset changing between games, such as shifting the amount of loot and enemies. Overall, it looks pretty interesting, so do check it out!

oh and merry christmas i guess that's a thing that's happening right now

The Forgotten Era

Equestria Gaming had a long break. A visible decline all throughout 2014 with the final abandonment in 2015. Of course it was not because nothing was happening, so this segment, The Forgotten Era, is to shed light onto the news that never got covered during this time. Won’t it be a bit pointless to report on months and potentially years old material? Perhaps it is, but it shows respect to the creators who couldn’t get their hard work out into the world and show a broader audience what they have achieved, while this outlet was out of commission.
These are not going to be done in any specific order. Just random picks from the backlog, rather that any sort of attempt at doing these chronologically. Our list is only covering what I imagine to be a fraction of the last year’s happenings, so feel free to send in any news and whatnot that never got their chance to get covered here. Now without further ado, let’s have a look at the first entry to this recurring segment.
