Brony Gamers Play Holding a Giveaway

The Brony Gamers Play promo image

So a while back there were a bunch of people who got together to make Let's Play videos and called their channel Brony Gamers Play. Since February marks their second year of existence they've decided to hold a daily stream over at their Twitch channel and give out various prizes every day, which is pretty sweet if you're the type of person who doesn't mind watching other people play video games with the slight chance of winning something in return.

To qualify for the giveaway you'll have to follow their Twitch channel at http://www.twitch.tv/bronygamersplay/ and talk to them on the chat. There's also a chart detailing as to exactly what games are being given away on each day, which may or may not interest you.

Later Today: Gaming for Good

Gaming for Good
Edit: it's over.
Just a reminder that the "Gaming for Good" thing we posted last week is coming up today at noon EST. They'll be playing games and stuff, which wouldn't be all that exciting if they weren't doing it for charity and interviewing the Legends of Equestria and Mane Six development teams. Still, in a way I'm honestly getting kind of sick of these podcasters interviewing the same fangame teams over and over again, and wish they would chat with some smaller developers (such as Bobby Schroeder or Donitz) for once, but since that's unlikely to happen anytime soon we might as well sit back and try not to get too upset over the lack of variety.

Once the event is ready you can watch it at http://events.yoursiblings.org/.

Gaming for Good: A Livestream Fundraiser Thing

The kindly people in charge of Bronies for Good, along with Equestria Daily and our friends over at Derpy Hooves News (along with two of the nicer people on Everfree Network) came up with the idea to hold a "charity livestream" in which you watch people play games and throw your money at the screen to help poor African children. Yeah, I know that we don't usually post livestreams and whatnot, but it's for a good cause and they'll also be interviewing the Legends of Equestria and Mane 6 development teams about their progress so far, which is pretty neat.

If you happen to be interested, the event takes place on November 16th at noon EST, and you'll be able to watch it all at http://events.yoursibilings.org/.

Reminder: Legends of Equestria is Livestreaming

Event 24-hour livestream event! reminder
Legends of Equestria Livestream

In case you've already forgotten (in which case you should be ashamed of yourself, as we only posted about it 3 days ago), the Legends of Equestria team is livestreaming right now, and will continue to do so until tomorrow at noon EDT. They'll be making stuff live in front of an audience, and cover up their extended breaks with panels on various things related to their upcoming game.

Also, for some reason they moved the event to a different channel, so head on over to http://www.livestream.com/nutsonclark to watch it.

Guess Who's Livestreaming This Weekend?

If you've been following Equestria Gaming over the past couple months/years, this banner should probably tell you all you need to know, but if you haven't figured it out yet Legends of Equestria is holding yet another 24 hour livestream, in which they will be extra productive in order to please the general public and hold several panels which may or may not interest you. The event will run from the 2nd of November at 12 noon EDT for a full 24 hours until the 3rd at 12 noon. And before you ask, the stream will be held at http://www.livestream.com/legends_of_equestria.

You can find a full schedule below the break.

BronyCon 2013: Friday

Outside the Stable Softworks Panel
BronyCon Stream

BronyCon is off to a raring start, and thankfully there are quite a few fangame-related panels on today's schedule. First off, at 11:30 AM EDT in the Hall of Dusk there is the panel for Guild of Unicorns: A Game Project, which should be fairly interesting as it is for a fairly unknown fangame. I myself have never heard of before, but apparently the creator been interviewed on Derpy Hooves News a while back so his game is probably decent enough. Then at 4:30 PM one can see the Ponycraft: Tainted Skies panel (again in the Hall of Dusk), and at 6:00 PM one can play a build of the game in the Baltimare Arcade. Also at 6:00 PM one can find the Outside the Stable Softworks panel in the Hall of Dawn, where you can learn how to make your very own fnagame (whatever that is). Also, make sure to check out the Starlight Studios booth in the games room to check out their Project Cygnus demo.

For those of us who are unable to attend BronyCon, there's always the official livestream. Hopefully I'll be able to attend the con someday...

New Fighting is Magic Build at CG

Mane6, creators of Fighting is Magic, are doing quite a bit of stuff at Canterlot Gardens as many of you have probably heard. They have a panel, and will be livestreaming a new build of the game (with Rainbow Dash included) at the con. You can see the stream here, or on their website. Also, tomorrow they'll be hosting a massive Fighting is Magic tournament starting at 12pm, with prizes. The competition may get heated - too bad I'm not there, because I would definitely take first place (not really).

Mane6 at Pon-E3

Mane6, creators of the highly anticipated Fighting is Magic, are livestreaming at http://www.twitch.tv/manesix for Pon-E3, demoing the EVO build of the game - playing matches and showing progress. A recording of this event will be posted on Mane 6's Youtube channel following the stream, in case you miss it. For more information about Fighting is Magic in general, check out their website at http://www.mane6.com/.

MLP:Online Prepares for Pon-E3

MLP: Online

MLP:Online's Announcement

With Pon-E3 coming up within a few short days our friends have been making preparations for their part in the event. However according to this thread it caught the MLP:Online team somewhat off-guard, as they just released the beta version of Episode 1 and didn't have too much for new content to show. In their desperate scramble to find something to do somepony suggested that they have a Q&Neigh session, as well as a discussion about interesting topics somewhat related to the game. This might sound kind of boring, but the thing is that all questions will be from the community and you can submit one yourself! Just go onto Twitter, ask @MLPOnline something and your question could be answered on their Livestream (I dunno where that is yet, they still have yet to announce that bit).

For some copypasta from their original announcement with more detailed information, continue on after the break!

More Details on Mane 6's Pon-E3 Stream

Fighting is Magic

Earlier today Mane 6 gave out some more info on their role in Pon-E3. We already knew what they were doing (hosting a stream of the EVO build at on the 14th at 3:00pm PST), but this time they've stated that to ensure everypony gets the best experience possible the team has switched their channel from being on Livestream to Twitch.tv and can be found at http://www.twitch.tv/manesix#. Be sure to bookmark it, folks!

After a break we have a copypasta mini-FAQ from their announcement.

Game Developer's Panel at BroNYCon

Edit: And it's over. Hope you enjoyed the stream!

In a little under half an hour the Pony Game Developer's panel will be airing, featuring various developers of fangames talking about their projects and exhibiting them. I'm really excited for this particular panel and what it promises to reveal to us, and after it's done we will post a summary of new and interesting things from it for all you that can't watch for some reason. If you can we would highly advise to put away whatever you're doing, sit down and watch the stream.

Enjoy!

Mane 6 Attending Pon-E3

Mane 6, the team behind My Little Pony: Fighting is Magic will participate in our very own Pon-E3! On Saturday, July 14th (exact time unspecified at the moment) they will host a stream of their "EVO build": a 4-character demo of Fighting is Magic that was intended to be seen at the Indie Showcase of EVO 2012. For those of thus (myself included) who cannot attend EVO 2012 just to see a build of Fighting is Magic this should be quite interesting, as the team's last stream was a couple months ago and a lot has changed since then.

See you on the stream!

LIVE:Legends of Equestria 24 Hour Livestream Challenge

Update: the event is now over, and it seems that they got most of their work done. Thanks for watching everypony!

The Legends of Equestria 24 Hour Livestream Challenge is now LIVE! In this amazing event you will get to see the creators strive to recreate the entire Everfree Forest in 24 hours. Do you think they will succeed? Personally, I think they shall fail, but if you want to be optimistic you can go and cheer them on.

Hope you enjoy the stream!

24 Hour Spring Break Marathon is LIVE!

The 24 hour spring break marathon is live now, and will be until 12 pm EST tomorrow. So get on down there and watch at http://www.livestream.com/gypzsepiclivestream, or just use the embedded player on our website!
